MERF is a massive intranet customer management / CRM system designed for the credit card processing industry. MERF is entirely my design, and was built using the PHP Symfony framework. It has three user interfaces depending on user level, and includes a blog, forum, IM and Alert system, document management, calendar system, email platform, and a lot more.

MERF is by far my largest project to date, as it is a very complex application that includes full AES database encryption, several custom API integrations including UPS Shipping, Authorize.net, Google Charts via SSL, ACH processing, audio alerts, and a custom PHP wallboard API for reporting around an office.

The database usage currently exceeds 1000 transactions per second, and handles real-time reporting from more than 20Gb of data.
